Rallye de France WRC: the entrants

The provisional list of entrants for Rally of France, eleventh round of the 2010 World Rally Championship season, has just been published. 70 crews have been announced, awaiting validation from the FIA. Twelve crews will be on board WRC : Sébastien Loeb, Dani Sordo, Sébastien Ogier, Kimi Räikkönen and Petter Solberg will be the drivers of the Citroën C4 WRC; Mikko Hirvonen, Jari-Matti Latvala, Matthew Wilson, Federico Villagra, Ken Block and Khalid Al-Qassimi will be in Ford Focus WRC; as for Yvan Muller, co-driven by Gilles Mondésir, he will be at the wheel of Petter Solberg’s Citroën Xsara WRC.

The S2000s are also announced in number: among the drivers entered, we find the French Jean-Sébastien Vigion (Peugeot 207 S2000) and Julien Maurin (Skoda Fabia S2000).

The young Mathieu Arzeno (Citroën C2 S1600), registered in J-WRC, will also be there, as will Jérémi Ancian (Suzuki Swift S1600) and Pierre Campana (Renault Clio S1600).

Other French people have been announced for the race in Alsace: Manu Guigou (Renault Twingo R1), Jérôme Schmitt (Citroën C2 R2), Germain Bonnefis (Citroën C2 R2 Max), Thomas Barral (Renault Clio R3), Thierry Colney (Renault Clio R3) and Jean-Pascal Besson (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX). In addition, Nicolas Klinger will co-drive Thierry Neuville (Citroën C2 S1600), registered in J-WRC.

The Rallye de France, which will allow Sébastien Loeb to race in his native region and perhaps win the world title, will take place from October 1 to 3.
