At the foot of the podium, Petter Solberg, Henning Solberg and Mads Ostberg completed a Norwegian hat-trick in the top 6, never before achieved in the FIA World Rally Championship by their nation.
Only France has managed to take the first ten places in a World Rally Championship event? twice ? in 1975 and in 1979 during the Tour de Corse.
