Sébastien Ogier had previously taken charge of the C3 on gravel, first in the south of France then in Portugal, a round counting for the World Rally Championship. Remember that the reigning world champion will have the Finn Esapekka Lappi as his teammate in 2019, with Citroën Racing focusing on a program with two cars.
M-Sport with Teemu Suninen, and Toyota with its three drivers Ott Tänak, Jari-Matti Latvala and rookie Kris Meeke, have also been driving on asphalt in recent days.
