Petter Solberg took second place in the Rally from Sweden at the wheel of his Ford Escort MKII. The three-time world champion finished 46” behind Kenneth Tomasson who was riding a Mazda 9 Turbo. The Norwegian was almost beaten by Mats Jonsson who failed five seconds behind second place.
