Perfect day for Dani Sordo. The Spaniard set a new best time during SS6 this Friday to end this first day of the Rally of Sardinia at the head of the general. Thanks to a time of 8'16″5, the Iberian took the best of Thierry Neuville (8’17″8) and Ott Tänak (8'19″7).

Second overall, Teemu Suninen lost further ground on Dani Sordo. The Finn, author of the fourth fastest time in the special, was relegated to almost 8 seconds in this SS6. He will have to take risks this Saturday to get back on the Spaniard.
