Craig Breen (Citroën) took the scratch in the second pass of Torntorp, SS12 of the Swedish Rally, completing the 19,88km in 9'55"3 and gaining 1"3 from the leader of the event Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) a suivi à 2 »5 en reprenant 1 »4 à son coéquipier Andreas Mikkelsen. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) a pointé à cinq secondes en précédant son coéquipier Ott Tänak who took more than seven seconds from Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) a fini à environ une demi-minute.
Thierry Neuville retains the lead Rally from Sweden with a 4”6 lead over Craig Breen. Andreas Mikkelsen retains third place for two tenths ahead of Hayden Paddon. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) remains in fifth place with only around ten seconds ahead of Esapekka Lappi. Jari-Matti Latvala remains seventh, half a second ahead of Ott Tänak. Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) remains ninth ahead of Kris Meeke (Citroën). Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) came back eight seconds from 11th place occupied by his teammate Sébastien Ogier.
