Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) pourrait encore modifier le classement du Rally de Suède. Le Finlandais a signé le scratch dans les 21,19km de Likenas avec un temps de 11’15 »0 et a repris 4 »5 à Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) did more than ensure by being the closest to the reference with 1"9 behind and taking back 1"4 to Craig Breen (Citroen). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) a signé le dixième chrono 20 »8 du meilleur chrono.
Thierry Neuville will enter the Power Stage of Rally Sweden with a 16” lead over Craig Breen. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) still completes the provisional podium ahead of Hayden Paddon, but the New Zealander is less than three seconds ahead of Esapekka Lappi. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) remains sixth, now more than 2 seconds behind the Finn. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) follows in seventh place ahead of his compatriot Teemu Suninen (M-Sport). Ott Tänak (Toyota) is ninth ahead of the Fords of Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans.
