Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a été le plus rapide dans le second shakedown du Rally from Sweden, the 1,9km of Karlstad which was to serve as a super special. With a time of 1'26''1, the Finnish private driver beat the Yaris by around 2 seconds WRC de Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä who finished fastest in the first shakedown.
Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) et Elfyn Evans (Toyota) ont complété le Top 5 devant Esapekka Lappi (M-Sport, Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) et Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Les pilotes Hyundai Craig Breen et Ott Tänak were the slowest, finishing behind the R5s, slowing down in the special.
