Afin de parfaire sa préparation pour la reprise du Championnat du monde des rallyes (WRC) en Estonie (4-6 septembre), le champion sortant Ott Tänak (Hyundai) participera au South Estonia Rally (21-22 août). Il pourrait y être rejoint par son équipier Thierry Neuville ainsi que les membres du Toyota Gazoo Racing Sébastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans.
