Ott Tänak (Toyota) a remporté la victoire au Rally of Portugal in front Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) complète le podium suite à l’abandon de Kris Meeke (Toyota) qui a cassé sa direction en heurtant une souche. Les pilotes M-Sport Teemu Suninen et Elfyn Evans complètent le Top 5 devant Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda) qui s’impose en WRC 2 Pro ahead of Jan Kopecky (Skoda). Gus Greensmith (M-Sport) retired after hitting an embankment on the landing of a jump. The ensuing red flag condemned Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) to 8th.
Sébastien Ogier won the Power Stage by completing the 11,18km of Fafe in 6'35''0. Thierry Neuville followed 9 tenths behind with 7 tenths ahead of Ott Tänak. Teemu Suninen and Dani Sordo completed the Top 5 of the special.
