Ott Tänak (Toyota) a remporté sa seconde victoire de la saison en s’imposant au Rally of Chile in front Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) who retained 2nd place for 7 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai).
The pilots M-Sport Elfyn Evans et Teemu Suninen complètent le Top 5 devant Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) et Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). Kris Meeke (Toyota) a pris la 8e place en reprenant Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda), vainqueur du WRC 2 Pro ahead of Mads Ostberg (Citroën), in the last ES.
Ott Tänak also earned bonus points from the Power Stage by completing the 12,52km of Bio Bio in 7'57''3 with a 1''3 lead over Sébastien Ogier. Jari-Matti Latvala followed at 3 seconds just ahead of Sébastien Loeb and Kris Meeke.
