Si Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) signe le meilleur temps de l’ES12 du Rally de Turquie, avec 6″3 d’avance sur Dani Sordo (Hyundai) et 6″7 sur Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford), le leadership a changé en tête de l’épreuve.
Esapekka Lappi made a small error at the start of a downhill left hairpin, which allowed Sébastien Ogier to beat his Citroën Racing teammate by 6″9 and take control of the race by 4″7 in the general classification.
Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) reste 3e à 1’13″2, 12″3 devant Teemu Suninen qui n’a pas ménagé sa monture dans cette ES, avec des dégâts sur le splitter avant et à l’arrière-gauche. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) reste 5e et devance désormais Kris Meeke, qui a pris l’avantage sur son équipier du Toyota Gazoo Racing Jari-Matti Latvala. Neuville et Pontus Tidemand (M-Sport Ford) complètent toujours le classement WRC.
Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5 Evo) takes the scratch in WRC 2 Pro, but Gus Greensmith (Ford Fiesta R5) remains at the head of the category with a 17″7 lead over the Czech.
