Dani Sordo (Hyundai) a signé le meilleur temps de la dernière spéciale du jour en Turquie, en dominant largement le peloton sur les 16 km au menu. L’Espagnol devance de 10″9 Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and 12″5 Thierry Neuville (Hyundai).
At the end of this day, however, it is the Citroën C3s which lead the peloton with Esapekka Lappi leading with a margin of 17″7 over Sébastien Ogier. Neuville remains in contact with the C3 at 18″4 from Lappi and 0″7 from Ogier.
Le trou est fait derrière puisque Teemu Suninen place sa Ford Fiesta – M-Sport Ford en 4e position à 44″4, devant Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) à 1’04 » et Sordo à 1’25 ». Les Toyota ont degringolé dans la hiérarchie au fil de la journée, Kris Meeke pointant en 7e position à 1’32 » devant Ott Tänak at 1'37" and Latvala at 1'42". Pontus Tidemand (M-Sport Ford) completes the top 10, more than 3′ behind.
Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5) dominates the WRC 2 Pro with a little more than 1′ ahead of Gus Greensmith (Ford Fiesta R5). Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Skoda Fabia R5) remains at the forefront in WRC 2, while being faster than the WRC 2 Pro.
