On the occasion of the Race Retro Competition Car Sale, organized by Silverstone Auctions on February 23, a Ford Focus WRC entered in eleven rounds of the World Rally Championship in 1999, including four with Colin McRae, will be put up for auction.
The chassis bears the number WFOBXXGCOBWB68335 and was driven by the Scot, world champion in 1995, in Catalonia, at the Tour de Corse, in Greece and in China. Petter Solberg and Thomas Radstrom also drove this Focus which made its debut that year, replacing the veteran Escort RS Cosworth. The estimated price ranges between £120 and £000 (€140 and €000) plus commissions.
