Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) a repris son coéquipier Esapekka Lappi dans la 13e spéciale du Wales Rally GB. En signant le 5e temps à 1’’5 du scratch d’Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai), le Finlandais a devancé de 2 secondes son compatriote. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) a été le plus proche de la référence avec 6 dixièmes de retard en précédant le leader de l’épreuve Ott Tänak (Toyota). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) a rendu 2 secondes à l’Estonien.
Ott Tänak now has a 48-second lead over Sébastien Ogier. Jari-Matti Latvala climbs onto the provisional podium one second ahead of Esapekka Lappi, less than 4 seconds behind the five-time champion WRC. Craig Breen stays in contact with less than 2 seconds behind Lappi. Mads Ostberg follows in 6th place ahead of the Hyundais of Hayden Paddon, Andreas Mikkelsen and Thierry Neuville.
