Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) went off the road on the second pass of Elsi, SS6 of Wales Rally GB. The Finn who was in 7th place finished in the bushes. The crew is unhurt.
Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) signed the provisional scratch more than a second ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Kris Meeke (Toyota) a lâché plus de 2 secondes et a précédé Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) et Ott Tänak (Toyota). Jari-Matti Latvala finished more than 9 seconds behind after possibly suffering a puncture following contact with a stone.
Kris Meeke retains the lead of Wales Rally GB with a lead of 5s over Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Ogier gains two places to come back to just over a second behind the Belgian, ahead of Ott Tänak by a similar gap. The ranking remains provisional, Craig Breen (Hyundai) not yet arriving.
