Kimi Raïkkönen has completed his preparation for the rally from Portugal. The world champion of F1 2007 covered 150 kilometers in the East of France. “He was very happy with the behavior of the DS3 WRC, explains Benoît Nogier, team manager of Ice 1 Racing. Kimi discovered the car on gravel and worked on different settings for Portugal. But it was a success, he prefers the new car because it is more responsive than before and it is better for him. »

Nogier admits to being optimistic about Raïkkönen's chances in Portugal. “ It's always a tough rally with difficult stages, but his performance in Sweden made us confident. He knows the rally and knows what the problems are. He has a good feeling with the car after the test so he is ok. »

Kimi Raïkkönen finished last year in 10th place.
