Yoann Bonato went off the road in Almodovar, ninth special of the Rally from Portugal. The stage was interrupted to allow an ambulance to intervene.

The Suzuki Swift Super 1600 hit at least one spectator, the crew was not injured.

He occupied second position in the J-WRC after SS8.
