WTCC world champion in 2008, Yvan Muller could start the Rally from France on the weekend of October 3. The Alsatian, local to the stage, would sit behind the wheel of a car from the Automéca team for the occasion. Note that the Chevrolet driver would not be his first experience in Rallying, having notably won the La Rochelle Rally in 2000, and the Rallye de la Châtaigne the following year.
