It's his teammate Ott Tänak who benefits from it and who is the new leader of the Ypres Rally! The Estonian was the fastest during SS15 with a time of 7'19"2 and regained a slight lead over Elfyn Evans (2nd, +3"1). The gap between the two men is now 6″3 overall. The fight for victory is therefore reduced to these two men since Esapekka Lappi (6th, +5″4), new 3rd, is almost a minute behind the leading duo.
In 4th place in the general classification, we find a surprise: Oliver Solberg (5th, +5″0), who overtook Adrien fourmaux (4th, +4″0) in the ranking. The Frenchman received a 20-second penalty for showing up 2 minutes late at the start of the special. “There were a lot of people on the road so we tried to pass people but we were stopped by the police. We have to see if we can do something but yes, we were two minutes late. " has explained the pilot M-Sport at the arrival.
