The second special stage of the Ypres Rally was fatal for Kalle Rovanperä while Thierry Neuville set the best time.

Kalle Rovanperä was the victim of a spectacular accident on the second stage of the Rally d’Ypres 2022. Le Finlandais devrait ne pas continuer cette première étape tant les dégâts sont conséquents sur sa Toyota Yaris hybride. L’équipage est cependant indemne.

This benefits Elfyn Evans (Toyota) who takes control of the Belgian event with a slim lead over Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) gagne trois places grâce à un temps scratch et Craig Breen (M-Sport Ford) en fait de même après une entame de rallye timide.
