2019 British Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) becomes the new record holder for victories at the British GP by winning the 2019 edition at Silverstone ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) completes the podium ahead of the Red Bulls of Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen.
Carlos Sainz Jr (McLaren) takes 6th place ahead of Daniel Ricciardo (Renault), Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo) and Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Nico Hülkenberg (Renault).
The Haas of Romain Grosjen and Kevin Magnussen retired following contact at the start. Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) was fighting for the podium before hitting Max Verstappen who had just overtaken him.
Bottas secures the double for Mercedes. Leclerc (Ferrari) completes the podium ahead of the Red Bulls of Gasly and Verstappen. Sainz Jr (McLaren) remains 6th ahead of Ricciardo (Renault), Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo), Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Hülkenberg (Renault).
Hamilton wins the British GP by setting the lap record!
Hamilton begins the final lap of the British GP.
T49 – Hamilton (Mercedes) remains on the track while his teammate Bottas maintains the best lap in the race. Ricciardo (Renault) still threatens Sainz Jr (McLaren) for 6th place.
T45 – Bottas (Mercedes) pits for soft tires. The Finn retains his 2nd place ahead of Leclerc (Ferrari).
T44 – Hamilton (Mercedes) is called back to the pits but the Briton remains on the track.
T44 – Hülkenberg (Renault) seems to have regained rhythm and remains on track in 11th place.
T44 – Hülkenberg (Renault) is slowing down even though he was in 10th place.
T43 – Bottas (Mercedes) should soon come to the pits, the Finn being forced to take another tire compound. Leclerc (Ferrari) could take 2nd place.
Vettel (Ferrari) receives a 10s penalty for his collision. His race seems to be over anyway.

T42 – Hülkenberg (Renault) is now in the points, occupying 10th place, 6 tenths behind Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo). His teammate Ricciardo is 7th just behind Sainz Jr (McLaren) whom he attacks.
T41 – Gasly (Red Bull) remains just over a second behind Leclerc (Ferrari). Verstappen follows his teammate more than 7s behind. Red Bull tells the Dutchman that the car is fine except for the flat bottom and the aero.
T39 – Verstappen (Red Bull) remains in 5th place between his teammate Gasly and Sainz Jr (McLaren). Vettel (Ferrari) has fallen in the standings and must return to the pits to change his front wing. The German came out on medium tires in last place with a lap behind.
Vettel is under investigation and is at serious risk of being penalized for his mistake.
Crash between Vettel and Verstappen. The Dutchman had overtaken the Ferrari but the German failed to brake and hit the RB15.
