The two Renaults finished “best of the rest” with Hülkenberg 7th, Sainz Jr 8th.
Lewis Hamilton remained behind Daniel Ricciardo and ceded the overall lead to Sebastian Vettel.
Note that the checkered flag was waved a lap too early by a VIP! Fortunately, this blunder did not disturb any pilot.
Valtteri Bottas manages to contain the threat of Max Verstappen to finish 2nd.

T69 – Two more laps and Max Verstappen is almost in the DRS zone of Valtteri Bottas!
T68 – Lewis Hamilton was slowed down by latecomer Sergey Sirotkin; It will be difficult to overcome Daniel Ricciardo now.

T58 – 1'13″864, this is the best lap in the race just achieved by Sebastian Vettel, who has a 7″2 lead over Valtteri Bottas.
T56 – Valtteri Bottas gets in trouble by braking too late before the first corner. The Mercedes passes through the grass but continues on its way without problem.
T53 – Charles Leclerc, 10th, is plagued by brake problems. Pierre Gasly's engineer orders him to attack in order to overtake him. The gap is 3″4.
T51 – Lewis Hamilton came back to 1″2 behind Daniel Ricciardo.
T49 – Romain Grosjean and Stoffel Vandoorne finally pitted. They return to the track in 12th and 16th place respectively.
T49 – If things stayed there, Sebastian Vettel would take the lead in the general classification by a small point against Lewis Hamilton.
