Lewis Hamilton remained behind Daniel Ricciardo and ceded the overall lead to Sebastian Vettel.

Note that the checkered flag was waved a lap too early by a VIP! Fortunately, this blunder did not disturb any pilot.

Valtteri Bottas manages to contain the threat of Max Verstappen to finish 2nd.

T69 – Two more laps and Max Verstappen is almost in the DRS zone of Valtteri Bottas!

T68 – Lewis Hamilton was slowed down by latecomer Sergey Sirotkin; It will be difficult to overcome Daniel Ricciardo now.

T67 – 1″6! Max Verstappen continues to get closer to Valtteri Bottas, four loops from the end.

T63 – Lewis Hamilton has DRS and comes back to six tenths behind Daniel Ricciardo. If the Mercedes passes the Red Bull, it regains the advantage in the general classification.  

T61 – If Vettel wins this evening, he would come within one success of Alain Prost (51st).

T58 – 1'13″864, this is the best lap in the race just achieved by Sebastian Vettel, who has a 7″2 lead over Valtteri Bottas.

T56 – Valtteri Bottas gets in trouble by braking too late before the first corner. The Mercedes passes through the grass but continues on its way without problem.

T53 – Charles Leclerc, 10th, is plagued by brake problems. Pierre Gasly's engineer orders him to attack in order to overtake him. The gap is 3″4.

T51 – Lewis Hamilton came back to 1″2 behind Daniel Ricciardo.

T47 – Positions are fixed everywhere or almost. Little action on the track!
