Vettel: “My last victory was a long time ago. I was happy after the tests but I was not very satisfied with my start. I showed Lewis that I was still struggling and then I saw that he was bothered by the traffic. I pushed hard when I took the lead. It’s fantastic to finally be able to attack over the laps and see the tires holding up. »
Bottas: “It was a great race with the team. We now know that we will have to work even harder for the future. »
Hamilton: “I congratulate Sebastian. The weekend was very good for us, but it was my stop that prevented me from competing. »
Vettel: “The car was impeccable. I couldn't dream of a more beautiful day. »
Vettel also took his 43rd F1 victory, his first since the 2015 Singapore GP.
