Räikkönen secures the points for 4th place. Ricciardo is 5th ahead of Bottas, Verstappen, Pérez, Massa and Hülkenberg. Grosjean retained his 11th position ahead of Button. Ocon takes 18th and last place.
Rosberg wins the Italian GP ahead of Hamilton and Vettel!
Rosberg begins the final lap of the Italian GP. The German is on the verge of achieving a first victory in this event. It would be his 7th of the season, already one more than last year.
T52 – Button returned to Grosjean’s wheels. It is a fight for prestige which is being played out since the two drivers are outside the top ten at a good distance from Hülkenberg.
With two laps to go, Rosberg remains in the lead ahead of Hamilton and the Ferraris of Vettel and Räikkönen. Ricciardo is 5th ahead of Bottas, Verstappen, Pérez, Massa and Hülkenberg.
T50 – With 3 laps to go, Hamilton is still 12s behind Rosberg. If the positions remain as they are, the German would return to two points behind the Championship leader.
T49 – Verstappen overtakes Pérez to gain 7th place. The Force India driver had to go out of track even though the Dutchman's overtake was clean.
T48 – Verstappen came back to within a second of Pérez who occupies 7th position.
T47 – Ricciardo takes 5th place by overtaking Bottas at the first chicane after braking late.
T46 – Ricciardo came back to 8 tenths behind Bottas. The Red Bull driver is able to activate his DRS.
T45 – Grosjean is on the doorstep of the top ten completed by Hülkenberg. Ocon remains 18th.
T45 – Ricciardo returned to 1″6 behind Bottas. The battle for 5th place should liven up this end of the race.
T44 – The Ferraris are currently the fastest on the track. Räikkönen has just set the fastest lap in the race. Vettel is 12s behind Hamilton's Mercedes.
T44 – Hamilton is now 13s behind Rosberg. He has a similar lead over Vettel.
T40 – Hamilton failed to brake at the first chicane by locking his wheels. The Briton lost 2s in the maneuver.
T40 – The gap between Rosberg and Hamilton remains at 10s. Ricciardo comes back to 3 seconds behind Bottas to take 5th place.
T39 – Kvyat comes into the pits to retire due to a damaged flat bottom. He is the 4th pilot to land.
T38 – Ricciardo makes his 2nd stop and emerges with super soft tires in 6th place behind Bottas.
T38 – Grosjean moved up to 12th place but the drivers in front of him (Massa and Hülkenberg) made their 2nd stop.
