Ott Tänak (Toyota) signs his 3rd scratch in a row at the Rally de Catalunya by winning SS10 with half a second ahead of his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala. The Hyundai drivers defended themselves well with Thierry Neuville at 6 tenths, Dani Sordo at 9 tenths and Sébastien Loeb at 1”5. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) followed almost 2 seconds ahead of the Fords of Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen.

Thierry Neuville now has more than 16 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb, threatened by Dani Sordo, who is less than 3 seconds behind. Ott Tänak claws his way back to just over 6 seconds behind the Spaniard. Jari-Matti Latvala completes the Top 5 ahead of M-Sport drivers and Sébastien Ogier.

Loeb sets the 5th fastest time, 1”5 behind Tänak and 6 tenths behind Sordo. The Alsatian keeps 2nd place for less than 3 seconds ahead of the Spaniard.

Neuville also remains on a good pace with 6 tenths behind Tänak. The Belgian maintains a lead of more than 19 seconds over his teammate Sordo.

Sordo limits his delay by only giving up 9 tenths to Tänak. The Toyota driver nevertheless comes back to 6″3 behind the Hyundai.

Tänak further improves the mark with half a second ahead of his teammate Latvala. The Estonian remains threatening against the Hyundais.

Latvala took the best time with 1″4 ahead of Ogier. The Finn is still in 5th position.

Evans is still ahead of his teammate Suninen by 2s, ranking 1″4 behind Ogier. The Welshman is well established in 6th place.

Ogier sets a first time in 10'57″5. Suninen ranks at 3″6. No press briefing on the arrival of this ES.

Ogier set off in the 2nd special of the second pass. The Citroën driver can no longer play anything regularly before the Power Stage, being almost 3 minutes behind Suninen.

The crews are now preparing for the 21,26km Querol special where Neuville was the fastest with a time of 10'52″4. Ogier should start from 14:42 p.m.
