Esapekka Lappi missed his braking in the same intersection where Katsuta spun and conceded 4″3 to Kalle Rovanperä!
Elfyn Evans loses 3″1 on Rovanperä, which means that the Finn passes the Welshman overall by 7 tenths! Rovanperä is provisionally 3rd on the Rally Finland.

Katsuta spun a few hundred meters from the finish! The Japanese lost around ten seconds! He crossed the line 13″3 behind Neuville, and the Belgian stole 6th place from the Toyota driver overall!
Despite the rain, the track and the times improved: Thierry Neuville was 12″9 faster than Loubet and set the best time in 10’10″0.
Neuville: “To be honest, I'm not comfortable. The car settings are better now, but I miss the precision. I tried to drive fast and have fun too, but you can feel while you're driving that it's not enough. »
Pierre-Louis Loubet is the fastest of the M-Sports and crosses the line in 10'22″9.
Loubet: “It was very, very difficult. There are places at the end where you don't have any grip and I was aquaplaning in two or three places. It's very easy to make a mistake. »
It goes even faster for Gus Greensmith in 10'28″3, or 2″4 faster than Huttunen.
Jari Huttunen still beat Fourmaux in 10'30″7, 2″3 ahead of Fourmaux.
The rain is getting heavier and heavier on SS12! Huttunen arrives at the end of the special and loses a little time, although he was 5 seconds ahead in the 3rd intermediate.
Adrien Fourmaux sets the first mark of the special in 10'33″0.
Fourmaux: “It was really tricky. The only grip I had was on the reconnaissance line, but we started to have standing water and I was doing a lot of aquaplaning. At 180km/h, the windshield wipers don't go fast enough! »
