Tänak reached the finish of the special 53s behind Ogier. The Estonian should be able to maintain his 7th place ahead of Solberg despite his front left puncture.
Tänak is slowed down by a puncture. The Estonian is in 7th place, one minute ahead of Henning Solberg.
Latvala only sets the 3rd provisional time, 4″1 behind Ogier. The Finn must, however, attack to regain first place in Neuville. “I was too careful,” explains the VW driver.
