Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) took the scratch in the 20,11km of Urunga with a time of 11'32''5 where he beat his teammate Ott Tänak by 7 tenths. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) followed a second behind while Mads Ostberg (Citroën) missed his special stage by failing 16 seconds behind the New Zealander.
Ott Tänak has a lead of more than 7 seconds over Jari-Matti Latvala. It is now Hayden Paddon who occupies 3rd place with more than 13 seconds ahead of Mads Ostberg.
