Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) continues to dominate WRC 2 with almost a minute ahead of Nikolay Gryazin (Hyundai) while Ole Christian Veiby (Hyundai) remains several minutes behind.

Ott Tänak (Hyundai) takes his first scratch on the second stage of the Rally Mexico. The reigning champion took almost 3 seconds from Elfyn Evans (Toyota) in the 21,78km of Derramadero and more than 6 seconds from Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Teemu Suninen (M-Sport). Despite going off the road, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) finished around ten seconds ahead of Kalle Rovanperä (Toyotaà and Gus Greensmith (M-Sport).

Sébastien Ogier returns to service with more than 28 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen who only has a 6”6 lead over Ott Tänak. Elfyn Evans finds himself more than 9 seconds behind the Estonian. Kalle Rovanperä remains 5th.

Ogier ranks 6s behind Tänak. The Toyota driver has a lead of more than 28 seconds over Suninen. Tänak is still almost 35s from the lead of the race. “There were a lot of stones at the start of the special. I feared a puncture after passing over it and I remained cautious. »
