They had done the hard part by achieving two remarkable climbs of the Turini. Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul (Hyundai) secured a first victory at the formidable Monte-Carlo Rally, this Sunday January 26.
The Belgian pair, world vice-champions in 2019, leads the championship after this opening round. The wearers of the No. 11 also won the Power Stage, tied with Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (Toyota).
