Tie between Ott Tänak and Kalle Rovanperä! The two drivers set the exact same time on this 17th special! The duel continues, still 11″5 ahead for the Estonian on this rally!
See you at 17:38 p.m. for the last special of the day, SS18!
The classification of SS17:
The general classification after SS17:
Esapekka Lappi concedes 2″8 on Rovanperä and is now 8″5 behind in the general classification in 2nd place.
Elfyn Evans lost 3″7 on Kalle Rovanperä’s time. It seems that one of the Welshman's wheels is veiled...
6'25″2 for Kalle Rovanperä, who improves Neuville's time by 7 seconds!
Rovanperä: “Not so confident.” Ott is fast and there is a limit with these cars – I can't do much more. I was already a little more reasonable in this one because there are a lot of stones. »
2″4 behind for Takamoto Katsuta on Neuville’s time. The Japanese is now 9″6 behind the Hyundai driver overall for 5th place.
Two rather prestigious spectators on the Rally of Finland…

Pierre-Louis Loubet loses 4″6 on this 17th special and also his 7th place overall, to the benefit of Gus Greensmith!
7″8 better for Gus Greensmith on Huttunen’s time. The Briton seems to be enjoying his day with laughter in the cockpit!
Greensmith: “The last left-hander isn't flat-out, but you can carry a hell of a lot of speed into that corner. I tried and I could see the trees out the windshield and the road out the window! It was fun. »
Jari Huttunen improved the best time to 6'43″5, 1″4 faster than Fourmaux.
Adrien Fourmaux crosses the line with a time of 6'44″9, the Frenchman does not push and just enjoys the event.
Fourmaux: “I enjoyed this stage but it's tricky with the lines. There's nothing I can really do, I'm just enjoying it and not pushing. »
During the previous special, Esapekka Lappi's windshield was damaged by a stone, but nothing too disabling for the Finn beforehand.
Kalle keeps on chipping away: In Rapsula 2 he's quickest by 1.2s. 🥇
With that he moves up to 2nd overall past Lappi, whose windscreen was damaged by a rock in the previous stage.#ToyotaGAZOORacing #GRYaris #WRC #RallyFinland 🇫🇮 pic.twitter.com/6e87pDYtgJ
