The 20km of Valdrome – Sigottier are contested between Drôme and Hautes-Alpes, southwest of Gap. The route is fast, winding and bumpy. A pass culminates at 1261m (the Col des Carabes) before offering a 5km descent at the end towards La Piarre.

The Citroën drivers Ogier and Lappi starting with 4 studded and 2 soft.

Neuville took 3 studded ones, 1 super soft and 2 soft.

Mikkelsen chose 3 studded and 3 soft.

Loeb preferred 2 studded, 2 super soft and 2 soft.

The M-Sport and Toyota drivers all start with 4 studded and 2 super soft.

Find our live text from the Monte-Carlo Rally dedicated to the second stage contested this Friday. The crews will have to compete on three special stages covered twice.

The day will begin with the 20,04km Valdrôme – Sigottier at 9:11 a.m. which will precede the Roussieux – Laborel (24,05km) special staged at 10:14 a.m. and Curbans – Piégut (18,47km) which will start at 11:37 a.m. The second run will begin at 14:23 p.m.

Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) will aim for a sixth consecutive victory in this event, the new Citroën driver remaining undefeated since 2014.
