Henning Solberg set the 7th provisional time in WRC-2 with his Ford Fiesta R5, but suffered a puncture after hitting a rock. Emil Bergqvist was arrested in the SS at the wheel of his DS3 R5.
In WRC-2, Lappi (Skoda) took the scratch in this SS4 ahead of Evans (Ford Fiesta R5) at 2″, Suninen (Skoda) at 3″8 and Tidemand (Skoda) at 5″5. Followed by Kruuda (Ford Fiesta R5), Pedder (Skoda), Aasen (Ford Fiesta R5), Loubet (DS3 R5), Gilbert (DS3 R5) and Bonato (DS3 R5). Loubet seems satisfied with his performance, finishing best of the Citroën DS3 R5 in provisional sixth position overall in the category.
Esapekka Lappi (Skoda) sets the best time in WRC-2 in 10’16″7 and is ahead of Evans by 2″. Tidemand (Skoda) fails at 3″5.
Khalid Al-Qassimi places his DS3 in 15th provisional position behind Marcos Ligato. The first WRC-2 drivers arrive at the finish with Elfyn Evans (Ford Fiesta R5) provisional best time in 10'18"7 ahead of Teemu Suninen (Skoda) at 1"8. Lappi and Tidemand (Skoda) are expected in the next few seconds.
At the end of the fourth special stage of the Rally Finland, Kris Meeke (DS3) retained the lead of the Rally Finland, but found himself under direct threat from Ott Tänak (Ford Fiesta), author of a superb time in the SS4 in 9'59″9 at an average speed of over 127 km/h. The Dmack driver is ahead of Meeke by 0″7 and comes back to 0″7 overall against the Briton.
The other drivers were in another dimension in this fourth sector since Andreas Mikkelsen placed his Volkswagen Polo R in third position, 8″ ahead of Craig Breen (DS3) at 8″6. Paddon (Hyundai), Neuville (Hyundai), Camilli (Ford), Ostberg (Ford), Ogier (Volkswagen) follow in the standings, while Latvala suffered a puncture on this ES after hitting an embankment. The Finn loses 16″ and falls to 5th overall, 17″3 behind Meeke.

10’08″5 for Craig Breen who places his DS3 WRC in provisional fourth position, 8″6 behind Tänak. “I lost time at a junction,” explains Breen.
Eric Camilli (Ford) concedes 10″8 on Tänak, but is ahead of Ostberg, Ogier and Latvala.
Meeke jokes about the risks taken on this SS: “I’ll be there tomorrow! ". The DS3 driver retains the lead of the Rally Finland by seven tenths against Tänak.
