Rally Portugal 2022
Ranking of the special:
General classification :

14:31 p.m.: SS6, Gois 2 (19,33 km)
15:38 a.m.: SS7, Arganil 2 (18,72 km)
17:05 p.m.: SS8, Mortagua (18,16 km)
20:03 p.m.: SS9, Lousada (3,36 km)
He himself was surprised to find himself at the top of the Rally Portugal standings après la boucle du vendredi matin.
« We thought it was going to be difficult starting fourth this morning, but finally we are leading the rally this afternoon, a déclaré le nonuple champion du monde du WRC. Certainly we had two hard tires on the front, I think that helped us a little. But the sensations were good, I was able to attack. I didn't make a mistake.
It took me a little while to find my rhythm. The dust in the car hampered me a bit on SS2 but I was able to set a decent time. Isabelle had not been able to close her door correctly, that disturbed me, I missed the start by forgetting to engage the boost of the hybrid system. So, I started without power, I think I lost a good two seconds.
Driving the Rally1 hybrids on gravel is pleasant. It's quite similar to the old WRCs. The gear ratios are a little longer because there are only five gears. »
