Ott Tänak (Hyundai) regained pace in Las Minas, the 5th special of the Rally Mexico, 13,69km long. If he does not take the scratch for a little more than a second behind Dani Sordo (Hyundai), the Estonian takes more than 3 seconds from Sébastien Ogier (Toyota). Elfyn Evans (Toyota) follows more than 5 seconds behind, just ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), Esapekka Lappi (M-Sport), Teemu Suninen (M-Sport), Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) and Gus Greensmith (M-Sport).
Sébastien Ogier remains in control with almost 8 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen. Thierry Neuville is less than 5 seconds behind the Finn, ahead of Esapekka Lappi by more than 3 seconds. Elfyn Evans remains 5th ahead of Kalle Rovanperä who holds off Ott Tänak for a little over a second.

Tänak took the provisional scratch with a 2″ lead over Ogier. Its mechanical problems therefore seem to be resolved.
Evans follows almost 4s ahead of Neuville, Lappi, Suninen and Rovanperä.

Ogier improves the provisional scratch by 1″6 against Evans. “It was a difficult stage because we had to avoid large stones on the road. » Neuville is now a dozen seconds behind the leader in the general classification.
