Ott Tänak (Toyota) scored the scratch in the second pass of Las Bajadas – Villa del Dique, 7th special of the Rally Argentina, where he completed the 16,65km in 9'09''7 with a lead of one second. on Dani Sordo (Hyundai). The Hyundais were efficient as Andreas Mikkelsen followed 3 seconds ahead of his teammate Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) is behind the i20 WRCs 5 seconds from the benchmark just ahead of Kris Meeke (Toyota), Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) and Esapekka Lappi (Citroën). Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) were the slowest, the Finn having suffered a puncture.

Kris Meeke retains the lead of Rally Argentina by 7 tenths ahead of Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville slips to 3rd place with a little over a second ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Dani Sordo moved up to 5th place tied with Andreas Mikkelsen while Jari-Matti Latvala lost two places and found himself 7th ahead of Elfyn Evans, Esapekka Lappi and Teemu Suninen.

Greensmith stops on the stage following a broken suspension. The Briton was in 2nd place in WRC 2 Pro behind Ostberg.

Mikkelsen kept a strong pace by setting the 3rd time, 3s behind Tänak. The Norwegian is now tied with his teammate Sordo in the general standings.

Suninen regains some rhythm by setting the 6th time, just over 7s behind Tänak's time. The Finn remains behind in the general classification.

Latvala also has damage to his Toyota. Its right rear wheel appears damaged. The Finn fails more than 9s from the benchmark and slips to 6th place, more than 3s from Sordo.

Sordo took a good pace since he ranked one second behind Tänak. The Hyundai driver is 3s behind Ogier.

Lappi signs the 5th fastest time, 8 seconds behind Tänak's provisional scratch. The Citroën driver remains around ten seconds behind Evans.

Meeke's Toyota has rear-right damage. The Northern Irishman finished almost 6s behind the benchmark but retained the lead over his teammate Tänak by 7 tenths.

Tänak cracked his windshield when landing a jump. The Toyota driver signs the provisional scratch with almost 5 seconds ahead of Neuville. The Estonian regains the advantage over the championship leaders with 3″6 ahead of the Belgian.

Ogier is a few tenths ahead of Neuville in the special. Tänak seems to have a better pace with more than a second ahead of the Belgian in the first split.

Neuville set off on the special where the conditions seemed to be less muddy than this morning.

The crews are preparing to compete in the second passage of the first stage. Meeke is in the lead with a 5s lead over Neuville, followed by Ogier and Tänak.

Neuville is expected to depart from Las Bajadas / Villa del Dique from 19:51 p.m. Meeke completed the 16,65km course in 9'19″1 on the first pass.
