Sardinia Rally 2022
First scratch in this Sardinia Rally for Tänak, winner of SS6 ahead of Lappi and Breen. Overall, the Estonian widens the gap a little on Lappi but only 6″4 separates the two men
Great first special of the afternoon for Fourmaux who finished 5 seconds behind Tänak with a time of 9'34″7
Bad news for Loubet who will leave the Top 3. With a time of 9'35″5, the Habs conceded 5″8 but above all 1″8 on Breen who stole 3rd place for 6 tenths
Lappi can't do it either. 9'32″4 which concedes 2″7 on Tänak. The Estonian is heading straight for a third stage in a row at the head of the rally
Tänak seems to have set the bar very high in this SS6 since Sordo also failed to beat him. The Spaniard ranked in 3rd provisional position, 4″2 behind the Estonian
Greensmith in trouble for the recovery. 9'40″1 for the Englishman, 10″4 behind Tänak
No improvement, however, for Breen who slots in between Tänak and Neuville with a time of 9'33″7, or 4″ slower than Tänak's.
Conditions are improving for the drivers who are on the attack in this SS6, as evidenced by the time of 9'29″7, 7″2 faster than Neuville.
Smooth recovery for Katsuta who finished 7″8 behind Neuville in 9’44″7
Rovanperä's time did not last very long since Neuville was ahead of him by 8″9 with a time of 9'36″9
9'45″6 on the line for Rovanperä
Rovanperä took advantage of the return to the Service Park to install a new rear wing on his Yaris. The Finn had competed in the last special with a missing piece
