Emil Lindholm (Skoda) set the best time in WRC3 but Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda) kept the lead in the rally for 33 seconds.
Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux set the second fastest time in the WRC2 category in his Ford Fiesta, the same second as Mads Ostberg. He takes control of the rally by 4”7 ahead of the Norwegian.
Sordo: “I lost a lot of time in the last frozen part, I didn't have the right feeling”.
Dani Sordo finished second at 5”6 and Sébastien Ogier took the lead of the rally by 3”6 seconds.
4th time for Esapekka Lappi, 15 seconds behind Sébastien Ogier. The Finn loses two places overall.
The road at the end of the special improves with each passage.
Best time for Sébastien Ogier (Toyota)! 8”3 better than Elfyn Evans.
“The snow at the end was a surprise, it was very tricky,” comments Evans.
Elfyn Evans (Toyota) takes the lead 1”8 better than Tanak.
Ott Tanak (Hyundai) even faster. the Estonian achieves a time of 18'13″2, 9”9 better than Rovanpera.
Rovanpera still achieved the best time with 7 seconds ahead.
The times are very close to the intermediates between the best.
Ole Christian Veiby placed second, 22” behind Katsuta with his Hyundai.
No big problems a priori for the Finn.
Kalle Rovanpera has hit! The Toyota driver arrived too quickly in a corner.
Tanak (Hyundai) took the lead after ten kilometers by 1”8.
Katsuta takes the lead 18”1 better than Greensmith.
