Although the start of the Estonian Rally was almost peaceful, several incidents marred the seventh special stage. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) will not go any further after a collision and a completely torn right rear axle:

Less penalizing, at least initially, a tire delaminated at high speed tore off a large piece of bodywork on Elfyn Evans' Toyota, which was nevertheless able to continue on its way. Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Craig Breen (Hyundai) also finished the special with a crazy tire, but the Frenchman still set the best time.

Ott Tänak increased his lead to 10″3 over his teammate Craig Breen while Sébastien Ogier dug a hole in 3rd place. Frenchman Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai) remains 10th in the event while awaiting confirmation of Thierry Neuville's retirement.

Ott Tänak sets the 2nd time, 6 tenths behind Sébastien Ogier. He retains the lead of the rally by 10″3 over Craig Breen, who only set the 4th time.
