Indy 500 2022

T200 / 200

Thank you all for following us for these Indianapolis 500 and Marcus Ericsson's victory! Good evening to you 🙂

T200 / 200

What a victory, what a finish of this 500 Indy 2022! Marcus Ericsson, former Formula 1 driver, wins his first Borg-Warner trophy. The podium is completed by Pato O'Ward and Tony Kanaan. Simon Pagenaud finished 8th.

T200 / 200

VICTORY FOR MARCUS ERICSSON! The Swede resisted O'Ward until the end!

T198 / 200

And here we go again for two rounds! Ericsson remains in the lead at the first corner!

T196 / 200

The drivers come out of the pit lane…

T196 / 200

It's terrible for Ericsson who was comfortably in the lead of this Indy 500! It's going to be fire for these last 4 laps! And Simon Pagenaud is lying in wait in 6th place!

Classification :

1) Ericsson – 2) O’Ward – 3) Kanaan – 4) Rosenqvist – 5) Rossi

T196 / 200

Red flag! Everyone must stop in the pit lane! Nothing is decided while Ericsson seemed to fly to victory! There are 4 rounds left...

T194 / 200

And Jimmie Johnson's crash! Be careful, it could turn everything upside down! Yellow flag for now!

T193 / 200

Marcus Ericsson is now in the lead after Johnson's stop! 3 seconds ahead of O'Ward for driver Chip Ganassi. Kanaan is third.

Ericsson can become the first Swede to win the Indy 500 since Kenny Bräck in 1999!

T186 / 200

Marcus Ericsson is virtually in the lead and has even taken a big lead! The Swede remained very discreet throughout the race, and he revealed his cards in the money-time! He is 4 seconds ahead of O'Ward!

T183 / 200

Be careful, Marcus Ericsson overtakes Pato O'Ward... and Rosenqvist too! In front, 6 drivers have not yet stopped, it is Palou who is in the lead.

T177 / 200

Penalty for Scott Dixon! The leader entered the pit lane too quickly! It must serve as a drive-through! He comes out far behind, it's over for him!

T175 / 200

Final pit stops for the drivers! Rosenqvist stops, followed a lap later by Dixon and Daly.

T170 / 200

Watch out for Takuma Sato, who shifted his strategy by stopping later during the yellow flag, and who could make a move in this last part of the race...

At the front, Dixon leads ahead of O'Ward, Rosenqvist, Daly and Ericsson. Pagenaud is still 9th.

T167 / 200

Replay of McLaughlin's crash:

T164 / 200

O'Ward and Dixon continue to battle at the front, the McLaren seems faster in a straight line. Note the rise of Rossi, 6th, and Palou, 11th.

T158 / 200

New restart, the 4th today! Dixon gets back in front of O'Ward, Pagenaud is 9th.

T156 / 200

Pato O'Ward is in the lead after 156 laps... After Sergio Pérez's success in Monaco, a second Mexican victory today?

T154 / 200

This accident will once again shake up everyone's strategies, with 46 laps to go...

T152 / 200

Fourth accident, and it's Scott McLaughlin who is in the wall! Yellow flag! The Penske driver hit the barrier hard in the first turn, before crossing the track and hitting the wall again in the second turn. And Ed Carpenter almost hit McLaughlin just after the first impact.
