Rally Greece 2021
We'll meet again in a few minutes for SS8, the start of which will be at 8:57 a.m.
The results of this SS7:
The general classification after the special:
Rovanperä strikes a big blow! Best time for the Finn in 19'27″7, 5″6 ahead of Tänak and 12″8 over Ogier. “I tried to give everything and the time is good so that’s good.”
What an impressive start to the day for the Toyota driver.
Sébastien Ogier's first reaction: “The special stage was very wet. The best choice would have been to only use soft tires but we don't have enough for the rally. »
Best time for Tänak in 19'33″3. The Estonian is widening the gap on Ogier in the general standings, while waiting to take control of the rally?
Sébastien Ogier is behind his teammate! The Frenchman leaves Evans 2″8 behind but had a good stage.
Dani Sordo, very popular yesterday, is provisionally ranked 2nd. The Spaniard finished in 19'44 "1 (+6"4), Evans' time holds for the moment.
Adrien Fourmaux starts his day slowly. The M-Sport driver lost 18″7 to Evans with a time of 19’56″4.
“Conditions were changing all the time.”
New best time for Elfyn Evans. The Briton also has to make up time, he signs a special in 19'37″7.
Kalle Rovanperä returns to the track! The rally leader begins a second day with the hope of doing as well as the day before.
Thierry Neuville provisional best time of the special in 19'52″1. The Belgian seems to have resolved all his mechanical problems from Friday.
Ogier, Fourmaux and Sordo are on track. Tänak and Rovanperä are the last to set off.
Pierre-Louis Loubet finished with a time of 20'11″9. “In the middle of the special, it looked like ice. It was very easy to make a mistake.”
Evans put on a hard tire on the right rear. The other tires are soft.
Today started ok but we had gear-related issues since SS3, we tried many things to resolve it but couldn't find a solution. With pretty much only a couple of gears to choose from it was frustrating and a busy day, we did everything we could to get back to service #EE33 @TGR_WRC pic.twitter.com/TX2KcJjnKf
