Monte-Carlo Rally 2022
8’52″3 for Ogier who finished 1″9 behind Neuville but above all ahead of Loeb by 4″6. The Gapençais leads the way with a 24" lead now
This special was not great for Loeb who made it known on the radio. “We were parked,” he whispered after his 8’56″8 to 6″5 from Neuville
3rd provisional time for Breen in 8’56”2, 5”8 from Neuville
Rovanperä took it really easy. The Finn, who wants to preserve his tires for the rest of the rally, completed the special in 9'20"8, 30"4 behind Neuville. He definitively says goodbye to 3rd place overall
No improvement for Greensmith who finished in 8’59″1 to 8″7 from Neuville
Best provisional time for Neuville in 8’50″4, 3″6 faster than Katsuta. The Belgian is now aiming for the Power Stage from which he hopes to leave with a few points
Evans crosses the finish line in 11’02”5. With his puncture, the Welshman lost more than 2 minutes on Katsuta
8’54 for Katsuta who is the first to reach the finish of SS15
It is indeed a puncture for Evans who is already starting again. This is very bad news since the Welshman had decided to only take 5 tires for the 4 specials. He will have to be very careful for the rest of the day or risk losing everything.
Evans stopped in the middle of the special. The Welshman seems to have died!
Note that Solberg was forced to abandon after new gas emissions in the passenger compartment of his i20. A problem he had been experiencing since Friday
#WRC unfortunately @OliverSolberg01 and @EAERallying will not continue at #RallyMonteCarlo. The crew and the team agreed to retire as Oliver and Elliott are not feeling well due to the fumes issue that they experienced in the car in the past days.#HMSGOfficial pic.twitter.com/xSlJ5wfkNU
