Clean F1 Team has just published a short press release where the teamHinwil announces that it is canceling its partnership with Honda planned from 2018. The Swiss structure currently powered by Ferrari clarified that she will announce " shortly " its future engine manufacturer.
“It’s really unfortunate that we have to cancel a planned collaboration with Honda at this stage, comments Frédéric Vasseur, the new Team Principal of Sauber F1 Team. However, this decision was made for strategic reasons in the interest of the future of Sauber F1 Team. We would like to thank Honda for their collaboration and we wish them the best for the future in F1. »
