If there is one thing that cannot be taken away from Johann Zarco, it is his sincerity; he doesn't make tongues. During the main race in Jerez, the Frenchman had a collision with Aleix Espargaro just before halfway. The Aprilia Racing rider attempted a particularly daring maneuver, so he mowed down the Cannois who was unable to do anything to avoid this incident.

Although this incident ruined Zarco's race, it's not what pissed him off the most today. Indeed, after the race, the two drivers were invited by the commissioners to explain their different points of view. However, it was indeed the decision of the race management that upset the Frenchman.
“I said to Aleix “we don’t agree on certain subjects, but I don’t blame you”, he explained at the microphone of Canal +. And then there is Freddie Spencer (president of the commissioners, Editor’s note) who looked at us, his eyes staring into space, who acted as if we were two little kids. What does he want ? To lecture us? Or does he want me to complain about Aleix by saying “yes give him a penalty”? But no, it's not up to me to do that, it's up to him to decide. Already yesterday's action by Brad Binder, who is not penalized, is not normal. So I told him “I don’t like you anyway, you’re doing your job, you’re doing it badly”. Then they took me out because they told me I was getting angry. »
The race management's decision has not yet been made regarding this incident, and this is exactly why Johann Zarco was particularly vehement. Let's hope that this media release will not penalize him further...
