Jack Miller confirms his good morning spirits with the best time of the second session.
- The weekends follow one another and are the same for fabio quartararo who once again failed to enter the Top 10. He will once again have to go through Q1 tomorrow morning. However, everything is going well for Johann Zarco, solid 5th, just 3 tenths behind Miller.
- Only 21 motorcycles took to the track during this second session because Raúl Fernández is out for the rest of the weekend. The Spanish pilot is not in condition to continue, insufficiently recovered after an operation for compartment syndrome in his right arm.
- The first third of the session was marked by the fall of seven drivers: Aleix Espargaro, Franco Morbidelli, Lorenzo Savadori, Joan Mir, Augusto Fernandez, Alex Márquez and Jorge Martin! Marc Márquez concluded this festival at the end of the session with his second fall of the day.

- Fabio Quartararo dedicated the start of the session to testing the Soft tires over more than 24 laps in order to judge their endurance for use on Sunday for the long race.
- Relatively rare image, Francesco Bagnaia showed several signs of annoyance throughout the session. The behavior of his official Ducati seemed particularly unstable, especially when braking.
- The session got heated in the last quarter of an hour, with Brad Binder being the first to steal first place from his teammate Jack Miller... who rushed to get it back!
