Nico Jamin succeeds his compatriot Florian Latorre by dropping out the title of USF2000, 3rd Championship of the “Road to Indy”, after having picked up his 9th victory of the season, his 5th in a row, at the end of Race 1 at Laguna Seca (California).
His exemplary consistency allowed him to quickly dominate the Championship, the Cape Motorsport driver having signed 12 poles (including 11 in a row!) and beating JR Hildebrand's record made in 2006 with 14 podiums (Hildebrand's record having nevertheless been achieved in 14 races and not 16).
“I knew that my involvement with Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing was going to be very useful in my fight for the title. I was also aware that I would have to face strong contenders like my teammate Aaron Telitz and Jake Eidson. The team gave me an incredible car, they really made my life easier”, said Nico Jamin.
