Fe – Di Grassi, first winner of the Paris ePrix

If we can only deplore the fact that the first edition of the Paris ePrix ended under a safety car regime, the identity of the winner would not have been changed. When, a handful of laps from the goal, the Chinese Quing Hua Ma went to damage his car of Team Aguri in the wall, Lucas di Grassi had almost five seconds ahead of the competition.

Leading the championship upon his arrival in Paris, the Brazilian from Abt Schaeffler Audi Sport scored his third victory of the season, his second in a row. A result which allows him to increase his lead over Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.Dams), third today.

Between the two duellists for the crown, we find the Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, who gleans his first podium since defending the colors of DS Virgin Racing. The Top five is completed by Nicolas Cheers (Renault e.Dams) and Stéphane Sarrazin (Venturi).

After making life difficult for his teammate Jean-Eric Vergne throughout the race, pole sitter Sam Bird set off straight away just a stone's throw from the end. A mishap which caused the Briton to fall to sixth place.

Not very successful today, Loïc duval (Dragon Racing) had to retire after only a few laps, victim of a faulty gearbox.

The next round, the Berlin ePrix, is scheduled for May 21.
