Fe – Di Grassi wins in Mexico

After Malaysia, Lucas di Grassi (Abt Audi Sport) won his second of the race at the end of the Mexico ePrix. This victory allows him to take the lead in the Championship against Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.Dams) who must be content with the last step of the podium behind Jérôme d’Ambrosio (Dragon Racing). The Swiss are now six points behind the Brazilian.

Lucas di Grassi took the advantage over pole sitter Jérôme d'Ambrosio just before the pit stops and was able to escape into the lead in the second part of the event, leaving the Belgian to fight with Sébastien Buemi. The latter tried everything to gain the advantage over the Dragon Racing driver, but the Swiss driver had to give up after making contact and having to give up his position.

Loïc duval (Dragon Racing) and Nicolas Cheers (Renault e.Dams) complete the top five after Daniel Abt (Abt Audi Sport) went off the track in the final moments. Robin Frijns (Andretti FE) is sixth ahead of Sam Bird (DS Virgin Racing). Stéphane Sarrazin (Venturi FE) completes the top ten behind Abt and Nick Heidfeld (Mahindra Racing). Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Virgin Racing) is last classified.
