First images of the Robocar

Intended to be organized alongside the competitions Formula e For the 2016-2017 season, the Roborace series races will be organized with cars without drivers. The first images of the Robocar concept, developed under the leadership of Daniel Simon, chief design manager, who notably worked on the prototypes seen in the films Tron: Legacy et Oblivion.

“My goal was to create a vehicle that takes full advantage of the unusual possibilities of having no driver without ever compromising aesthetics, comments Simon. The engineers and aerodynamicists have worked with me from the beginning to achieve this balance.

The Roborace is as much about competition as it is about entertainment. Therefore – something quite unusual in today's racing world – aesthetics were important in our plan, and we work hard to merge the best possible performance with magnificent style. »
